Toni and Me
Hold on to your hats folks, here is my first working download!
Mostly I included it as a proof-of-concept. I took a still picture,
aimed my camcorder at it (set at max zoom and closest focus), the
camcorder was plugged into my Macintosh with Apple video capture card,
saved the image in standard Apple format, converted that to GIF format,
(after some minor cropping, and converting to 256 colors - more colors
gave an incoherent picture) then uploaded it using Zmodem xfer in
standard binary format. Jpegs also work well and use less space.
